Hiding Friends on Facebook Through Multiple Devices

• Launch the friend’s tab on your profile and click on the pencil icon in it. 
• Then, you will see an “Edit Privacy” option, click on it to proceed.
• Next, click on the “custom” icon.

• Once logged in, go to your profile and click on the “friends list” option.
• There, you’ll see the “public” option, which says your friend’s list is viewable to the public and anyone can see your friends list. Proceed further to get more options here. 
• Then, you will have more options like “friends, only me, and public”. Click on friends or only me according to your choice and you are done. 
• If you click on “only me”, then even the friends added to your lists won’t be able to view your friend’s list.

• Then, you will have several options for customizing the friend list’s settings-
  1. Friends-only friends that are added to your list can see your friend list. 
  2. Only me– no one will be able to view your friend list except you.
  3. Friends except-this is when you want to hide your friend list from a particular person.
  4. Specific friends-this is when you want to hide your friend list from everyone except some of your friends.

Hiding Facebook Friends Through iOS

Just like you learned to hide your Facebook friend list through Android devices, doing the same through iOS is equally convenient as well. Let’s see how:

• Launch the Facebook app on your iOS device.
• There, click on the three lines from the bottom right corner of your screen.
• Then, click on the “settings and privacy” option, and from there, click on the “Privacy” option.

  

• In the privacy menu, scroll down and locate the “privacy settings”.

  

• Now from there, go to the “How people find and contact you” option.

• Under that menu, click on the “who can see my friend list?”.
